In a national effort to minimize the presence of lead and copper in our drinking water, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is requiring all Texas public water systems to submit inventories of our service lines by October 2024.

 

The Public Works Department has created a survey that is now available to all of our water customers to aid in identifying what types of service lines are connected to our water system.

 

The survey is available to complete online and at city hall.

 

Only one member of each household needs to complete the survey.

 

We know your time is worth something and we have an incentive to encourage you to complete the survey: each household who successfully completes the entire survey by August 15, 2024 by 4 p.m. will be entered into a drawing for one of three $50 gift cards.
