Union Pacific's Big Boy #4014, the largest steam locomotive in operation today, will be coming to Big Sandy on Tuesday September 17, 2024 with a planned stop from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm.
We hope you'll join us in welcoming Big Boy, where we will be presenting a proclamation and receiving a designation of Train Town USA.
The City has planned viewing and parking areas including free shuttle service and will also be bringing in several food options for our guests.
