• A plea of "Guilty" or “No Contest” is required when requesting a payment plan.
• Payment plans must be approved by the judge.
  • You must appear in court and request a payment plan on or before your scheduled court date.
  • You may request that a payment plan be mailed to you.  The original payment plan request must be signed and returned to Big Sandy Municipal Court on or before your scheduled court date. 
  • If the judge approve your payment plan, a copy will be provided to you for your records.

• Citations with payment plans not paid within 30 days will be assessed a state mandated $15.00 time payment fee.
• Once the judge approves your payment plan, please remember:
  • Warrants will be issued if the payment plan payment is more than 10 days late.
  • Extensions for payment plans can be granted by the judge.  To schedule a court date to see the judge, please call 903.636.5534.
